I was reading a college's post and it made me wonder about how doctor's and scientist approach certain families about research for the "greater good"...
I know that for some kind of evolution or social change for the better, some research has to be done; and I don't mean to offend at all but most of the research that I see is based on European decent and their offspring and other nationalities are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th...
I guess what I am trying to say is why can't people of the world just understand we bleed the same blood no matter what side of the tracks you come from. Why does it always have to be about race, or creed, or religion, or even social status? It is so disrespectful to me and to many others that people are grouped into categories like mice. I took my wife to see the new Star Trek and I noticed that in the future in movies there was no racism or speculations because on species of people were different from another. But it never ceases to amaze me that it's always a crazy man running and calling the shots.
Then it takes me back to an article that I read in the "Global Children's Initiative" where they said that they are in support of focused strategic objectives. It sounds so military to me, then it was also stated:
"The Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University was founded in 2006 on the belief that the vitality
and sustainability of any society depend on the extent to which it expands opportunities early in life for
all children to achieve their full potential and engage in responsible and productive citizenship."
www.developingchild.harvard.edu, "Global Children's Initiative")
To me wording is everything and it sounds like they are creating clones...that's just my opinion but that is how it sounds to me; as if your citizenship depends on how you are programmed by a specific system of education and if your children are not given belief at an early age that the sustainability of your society depends on how you do in school is not a warning of insanity...I don't know what does.
But again this is just me digging a little deeper and not just reading letters on the surface of the paper...
