I have seen many postings and comments about children but I just can't seem to address them to use to describe my experience of having children. I know that children are extentions of our selves and that makes us immortal. I know that children are the extentions of our ancestors so that our DNA can go further in the universe. With this knowledge, I give respect to those who have positive things to say about children but I am going to use my own thoughts in how I describe a child that is my own. To use a quote is not my own words, it will not really be a honest description of how I feel about children so therefore...
This is dedicated to my son Ade'...
Waiting for your laughter a poem by Obadele A. Bomani
When I first though of you the thunder rolled across the sky
I heard laughter in the clouds
Then the heavens created you
Atoms began to vibrate and synapsis created bliss
Lightning struck the imagination of our beings
Then the definition of you came into existence
9 months of hunger, turbulent waters, and you hiding from pictures
Our love growing with every trimester
Listening to your heart beating then you began to kick your father and mother
As the days went by patiently waiting to hear your laughter
When you were able to see, your hand met mine
You seemed to respond when I sung that song “Time After Time”
Your father is so grateful for the being that your mother brought forth in the world
Ade’ the returning crown is born…

What is the problem with color?
I can remember back when I was in 8th grade and me and my brother wanted to go out and play some football in the snow. It was a bright sunny day and we had nothing better to do. It was early at or around maybe 11 in the morning. My brother decided he wanted to make snow forts like we did when we were younger and have football wars. I said cool and started to dig trenches in the snow while doing the big brother thing and blast him with snowballs when he wasn't looking. Then when we were really getting into enjoying ourselves, two other boys who were Caucasian walked up and took my brother's football and walked off. I was heated instantly because there was still racial tension where I lived. Black people were always subject to racial profiling and discrimination. When the boys took my brother's football, one of them said "these niggers won't mind us borrowing there football". Laughed and proceeded to walk away like it was okay. I looked at my brother and he had tears in his eyes because I bought him that football, made me go off. After being called a nigger in school then being called it again in front of my own house was enough. So I sent the boy to the hospital with 21 stitches to the face. The next incident was in school and there was this boy who thought he was the cream of the crop of Caucasian boys thought he could bully the black kids all the time till he faced me and a group of my boys. I remember we were in English class and the teacher left out to make copies and as soon as she left the room he balled off and smacks me in the back of the head and says to his friend "you gotta keep'm in line every now and then". So I kicked his butt in front of his friend and his friend got it too for laughing.
In America, it's custom for Caucasian people to look at people of color like they have a problem. This infection of the mind started a long time before there was a African slave trade. Fear was there ammunition and still is to this day. They use television and the news to do it eloquently and most of the people that are in other countries and ignorant to the fact that we are beautiful people need a reality check as well. I have talked to people from the middle east and they all have told me that they don't like the propaganda that America tells because most of it are lies just to get a reaction from the people. If I had to look at another country and talk about the racism involved it would be Rowanda because they committed a mass genocide because British intelligence were too involved with their affairs and they did nothing to try to save those people from themselves.
There are so many countries that commit racism only because they are lacking self-love as a people and have no right to look down on any other type of race because if you have wisdom you would know that all civilization come from the womb of a "BLACK" woman.
