ARE YOU PROUD OF WHERE YOU COME FROM....

People are waking up to the horrors of propaganda and the introduction of mental slavery.  The sad part is that those who started it don't want to face it, they don't want to change it, and they don't want to remember why they did it...

Another thing on my mind about research and children...

I was reading a college's post and it made me wonder about how doctor's and scientist approach certain families about research for the "greater good"...

I know that for some kind of evolution or social change for the better, some research has to be done; and I don't mean to offend at all but most of the research that I see is based on European decent and their offspring and other nationalities are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th...

I guess what I am trying to say is why can't people of the world just understand we bleed the same blood no matter what side of the tracks you come from. Why does it always have to be about race, or creed, or religion, or even social status? It is so disrespectful to me and to many others that people are grouped into categories like mice. I took my wife to see the new Star Trek and I noticed that in the future in movies there was no racism or speculations because on species of people were different from another. But it never ceases to amaze me that it's always a crazy man running and calling the shots.

Then it takes me back to an article that I read in the "Global Children's Initiative" where they said that they are in support of focused strategic objectives. It sounds so military to me, then it was also stated:

"The Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University was founded in 2006 on the belief that the vitality
and sustainability of any society depend on the extent to which it expands opportunities early in life for
all children to achieve their full potential and engage in responsible and productive citizenship."

www.developingchild.harvard.edu, "Global Children's Initiative")

To me wording is everything and it sounds like they are creating clones...that's just my opinion but that is how it sounds to me; as if your citizenship depends on how you are programmed by a specific system of education and if your children are not given belief at an early age that the sustainability of your society depends on how you do in school is not a warning of insanity...I don't know what does.

But again this is just me digging a little deeper and not just reading letters on the surface of the paper...

Research that Benefits Children and Families—Uplifting Stories

Option 2:
Imagine that you possess the means and the knowledge to conduct research studies about any topic in the early childhood field. Imagine further that you are not restricted by the reality of the present. Imagine that your study will make a major positive contribution to the well-being of children and/or their families. What topic would you choose? What can you imagine the positive contribution(s) would be?

If I had the means to change the way research was done about anything dealing with children.  My topic would be “How to deal with your children from the inside out”.  I would take out the stereotypes, take away the bias, take away all the misconceptions that were conceived in the mind from the beginning of what we think is civilization.

I would like to research children that had special gifts; via empathetic communication, telekinetic use of the mind (without mind altering devices or neural stimulants); study children that are sensitive to paranormal vibrations in order to control that gift without brainwashing.

With all that being said, I would like to study children that are already being taught how to use that part of the brain that is supposed to be dormant.  I would like to watch children study the stars and planetary alignments which we call Astrology, numerology, and alchemy.  With these tools in a controlled environment show them how to connect with nature and the being within them.

Of course these are just my aspirations of how a child should be taught and revered, but in our society we have realistic issues that need addressing such as, poverty, lack of a the true definition of what education is really about.  We also have issues with children having too much stress at home and how it affects them emotionally, physically, spiritually, and psychologically.  Well, spirituality would get ruled out because some psychologist believe the notion that spirituality has nothing to do with psychology.  Just the word psyche talks about a realm of the brain that in on another plane of existence; and should be given more credit.  I gave an example of ADHD and what it was described as being in the DSM-IV as a disorder of the brain with a chemical imbalance.  But that is not all that it truly is.

We can clinically give a definition in the realms of psychology because it is the study of the psyche, but to look at this disorder in it prime equation and understand its true workings.  It truly is a disorder of the energy construct of a particular human-being.  It’s not just a dysfunction of one part of the brain dealing with the neurotransmitters.  We are dealing with chakra imbalance; we are dealing with improper births and other types of abnormalities that are passed down through DNA.

If we were to logically think about the anxiety that children go through from the time of birth, through adolescence, through puberty, adulthood; then here comes death all over again.  Just the span of life for human being is stressful enough but in a child’s eyes that can’t just get up and go to another part of the city to get themselves together or shut down their emotions because there is dysfunction in their society bleeding that into the home.  The research of the Esoteric principles would help that a whole lot.  Why?  Because it will teach that child how to cope with themselves first then deal with life!

WEEK 2 Research can be misleading!

I am posting something that I had to post in my research in childhood development this week.  We all know that when looking up information on the internet can have its consequences which involves getting the facts wrong...

One thing that I learned when I was in abnormal psychology in undergraduate school was that you always look for more than one source of information.  No one man or woman's opinion is etched in stone...

The eyes can lie and cause disruption in your cognitive interpretation of information if not careful causing mass confusion and hysteria among colleges and social gatherings...

This is what is known as PROPAGANDA!

by definition means:

prop·a·gan·da

/ˌpräpəˈgandə/
Noun
  1. Information, esp. of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.
  2. The dissemination of such information as a political strategy.
Synonyms
publicity - propagation

Discussion Assignment: Checking Quality Criteria

“Like detectives, researchers have different ideas about the best way to do their work.  Some researchers pursue their research in a linear, logical and step-by-step way;  Deductive Research Methodology(Mac Nautghton, Rolfe, 2010)

Looking over the resources made me think of past classes that I have taken and I thought about “Issues and Trends in Early Childhood”.  I remembered a lot of articles that were scientific based and had a great deal of information when it came to the psychological aspects of childhood development.  As instructors or teacher; we sometimes get caught up in the academic part of the issues but not what is going on with the child or even adults since they are just big versions of children anyway.  Not to be disrespectful or anything, just think about it!  Every since we were little we wanted to be big and now that we are some of us wish that we were kids again…Some with to redo some of the experiences that we shared and some wish to never relive some childhood experiences.  Never the less, when it comes to documenting research, dealing with children and their experiences; we sometimes can put our own wishes or thoughts into the picture and make the research invalid. (Commentary by Obadele A. Bomani, 2013)

Model good behavior
“Preschoolers will be better listeners if they see that you are a good listener, too. Make it a habit to listen to your child as respectfully as you would to any adult. Look at her when she talks to you, respond politely, and let her finish without interrupting whenever possible.”

Honestly, I hated this popping up in my newsfeed on my phone every single month as if everything that this center said was accurate to the letter…Oh how wrong they were!  I have a two year old that is smart as a 4 or 5 year old and acts like he is 60 years old…lol

Some children can watch you just to go against what you are doing so this statement is just an opinion and not a proven fact of the majority of children around the world.  Not only that,  it is not backed by university or professional study.  The reference that I gave above about modeling good behavior doesn’t work with him because he knows that he is his own person already.  He understands the differences between him and his sister, he understands between mother and father.  He knows who to call when he wants to get away with things and who does the grounding in the house.

The trouble with some of these types of articles is that it is in my opinion, geared toward the stay at home parent.  Notice I am not going to say stay at home mom because there are some fathers out there that would rather stay at home and be with their children.  I love my kids they make me laugh and feel young.  But again, this is my experience and may not fit another person’s experience as a parent…

One of the insights that we were asked to talk about was the research chart that was very helpful for the discussion in the class.  It helped me to look at other key areas of research that I was aware of already but help me to look deeper and ask more questions about the research being conducted.
